When are Virtual Sessions the Best Choice:

  • If you are seeking therapy but do not feel comfortable with in-person sessions due to COVID-19.

  • If your schedule makes it difficult to come to the office during normal business hours. Virtual sessions offer more flexibility in scheduling a time that works for you.

  • If you have a college student who is seeking therapy but lives too far away to make it to the office.

ONLINE THERAPY AND/OR SESSIONS VIA PHONE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS:

  • If you are having thoughts of harming yourself (self harm or suicidal), or someone else.

  • If you are in an abusive or violent relationship.

  • If you have attempted suicide within the last 12 months.

  • If you have a serious substance abuse dependence.
