I'm a full time wife, mom, and therapist. I'm a real person who has the same day-to-day struggles you do. I question if I'm a "good enough" momma, a "good enough" wife, a "good enough" therapist. I wake up every day vowing to accomplish everything on my to-do list...knowing full well that I'll be lucky to get through half of it. I have mom fails and mom guilt just like you.
So please hear me when I say...you are NOT alone...you are NOT failing...You ARE Enough.
I know how uncomfortable and vulnerable you can feel when you start the search for outside help for your child, no matter if they are still little, in the throws of "teenager-hood", or have ventured off to college. As the parent, you feel like YOU should be the one who has all the answers, and that if you seek outside help, then you have somehow failed as a parent.
I am here to tell you that that type of thinking couldn't be further from the truth! The fact that you are brave enough to reach out to a total stranger for help confirms that you are an AWESOME parent who will do anything to help their child and family.
Enter the "total stranger"... ME!
I moved into private practice, and created R.E.A.C.H. Family Therapy, so that I could have the creative freedom to do what I do best ... JOIN YOU IN THE TRENCHES.
My hope is that after reading this, you will feel like you know me a little bit better, and in turn, it will be easier to begin this "therapy" journey.
